Hive.Mobility partner province of Groningen and the German company INTIS take part of the IAA Mobility Congress in Munich from 7 to 12 September 2021. During this congress they will demonstrate wireless charging for an autonomous NAVYA shuttle and for an e-bike.
‘Kontaktlo(o)s’ charging
As part of the INTERREG project ´Kontaktlo(o)s´ charging, INTIS and the province of Groningen will present the wireless charging technology live at their indoor and outdoor booth at the tradeshow.
An autonomous shuttle is part of the ‘Kontaktlo(o)s charging’ assignment where German and Dutch partners in the Ems-Dollart-Region (EDR) are working together. As a specialist in wireless charging solutions, INTIS has converted different vehicles to be charged wireless. ‘Kontaktlo(o)s charging’ (wireless charging) technology enables driving and parking without the need of a steward on board and extends the operating hours of the shuttle service. Thus, providing an attractive contribution to the development of autonomous driving vehicles.
Join in on a ride to the future
Curious about this demonstration? During the congress, INTIS and the province of Groningen can be found in their booth in Hall B5/C33 and their 80 meters test track outside Hall B6. Take a ride on the NAVYA shuttle and experience wireless charging at the bus stop.
On the outdoor e-bike parcour next to Hall B6, you can pick-up an e-bike and charge it at a wireless charging station when you are done.
